A Park of Friendship of regions of Kyrgyzstan and Russia will be opened in Jalal-Abad. The head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov said at a joint meeting of the governments of the two countries in Moscow.
According to him, the opening of the new park zone is scheduled for October 26.
«We expect a high-ranking delegation from the Russian side for this significant event. I believe that it is cultural ties that nourish our friendship and preserve our brotherhood,» Akylbek Japarov said.
A capsule at the site of the new park was laid in October 2023. The grant for the construction of this park was allocated by the Government of the Russian Federation. The area of the park will be more than 8 hectares. It will include public and sports areas, a fountain, stands, a bike path, a playground, art objects and much more. More than 3,000 trees, shrubs, flowers and other plants will be planted on its territory.
