Part of resort used for money laundering by crime group returned to state

Laguna City resort, located in Issyk-Kul region, was returned to the state. The press center of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic (SCNS) reported. The cost of the resort is $5 million.

As part of the investigative and operational measures within the previously initiated criminal case on the fact of money laundering, as well as financing the activities of Kamchi Kolbaev’s organized crime group, part of the recreation center Laguna City was transferred to the state balance, including cottages, a sauna, cafes and restaurants, administrative buildings, etc.

The security services continue to carry out relevant measures aimed at detection of property obtained by criminal means.
