Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov got acquainted with the construction of the plant for assembly and manufacture of cars Altyn Tulpar Unaa Kurulush within his working trip to Chui region. The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
The plant will produce cars of Chevrolet, Isuzu brands.
He noted that this investment project will serve the development of the automotive industry and the development of the economy of the region, and instructed the relevant government agencies to develop a program of support for the sale of products and facilitate the speedy launch of the plant.
At the initial stage the production capacity of the plant will be 10,000 cars per year. More than 1,000 permanent jobs will be created at the plant.
As part of his trip to Chui region, Akylbek Japarov also visited a number of enterprises, including a logistics center with the country’s first blast freezing workshop using IQF technology, a Bishkek poultry farm, as well as a shoe factory in Sokuluk district.
