Vladimir Putin stated that he plans to hold an informal meeting with the heads of the CIS countries in St. Petersburg at the end of December. RIA Novosti reported.
«I would like to ask you to convey my warmest greetings to the leaders of your states, whom I expect to see very soon — at the end of December at a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council and the traditional informal meeting of CIS leaders in St. Petersburg,» the Russian President said in an address to the participants of the meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
Vladimir Putin recalled that on January 1, 2024 Russia will take over the chairmanship of the association; it is planned to continue and develop the practice of holding joint events in a variety of areas of art, education and science.
