At least 14 children have been abandoned in Kyrgyzstan since the beginning of the year. The Deputy Minister of Labor, Social Security and Migration Janyl Alybaeva told at a press conference.
Journalists recalled that in November there were three cases that shocked Kyrgyzstanis: newborn babies were left outside in cold.
Two of them were in Bishkek. Reporters asked whether the ministry keeps statistics on abandoned children.
«Statistics are kept on an ongoing basis. This year, according to our territorial offices, there were 14 such children. Individual development plans are drawn up for each child, for each case,» she said.
