President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko helped Kyrgyzstan to repair a helicopter. The head of state Sadyr Japarov posted on Facebook, thanking his colleague.
He recalled that in 2016, Russia provided Kyrgyzstan with a helicopter MI-8MTV-1. It was used by the state for various purposes.
«But unfortunately, exactly one year later, in 2017, the helicopter broke down. In addition to acquiring new aircraft, we try to repair the existing ones and use them for the needs of the country. Specialists have managed to find out that the helicopter out of service, which has not been used for six years, can be repaired. We talked to them and thanks to the President of Belarus we made a major overhaul. Thus, the number of our helicopters has increased,» Sadyr Japarov posted.
In this regard, he expressed his deep gratitude to President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko for his immediate response and resolution of the issue.
«President Lukashenko has taken the repair of the helicopter under his personal control, strictly instructing the relevant specialists to perform all the work qualitatively,» the head of state noted.
Sadyr Japarov stressed that he arrived in Talas region on this helicopter as part of his working trip.
