Ozon marketplace will start selling goods to buyers in Kyrgyzstan in July 2023. The head of the business direction Sergei Goncharov told journalists.
«We will enter the market of Kyrgyzstan in July, and in the fall we will enter the market of Armenia,» he said.
Ozon has been developing business in Belarus and Kazakhstan since 2021, and in December 2022 it entered the market of Kyrgyzstan.
Earlier, Alexey Sapon, Ozon Chief Operations Officer in the CIS, reported that Ozon.kg marketplace, registered directly in Kyrgyzstan, would be opened during 2023.
«If we are working on flows from Kyrgyzstan to Russia, then our task is to ensure that all goods that are placed on the site are available to all residents of the republic. In the near future, along with the opening of a local site, we plan to strengthen and open the infrastructure here, open pickup points, both our own and partner ones,» Alexey Sapon said.
Ozon is the oldest Russian universal online store. According to the research agency Data Insight, it is the second largest online store in Russia. The company was founded in 1998.
