The President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov visited Bishkek Machine-Building Plant OJSC, Bishkek Stamping Plant state enterprise and got acquainted with the activities of Kyrgyzindustriya OJSC. Press service of the head of state reported.
Sadyr Japarov examined the industrial territories of factories, idle production workshops and facilities of the enterprises. The head of the Cabinet Akylbek Japarov told about ongoing and planned work to improve and increase capacity at these facilities, in particular, about attracting foreign investment to open new production sites, large facilities, such as a technology park.
In addition, projects implemented by Kyrgyzindustriya OJSC were presented to the president.
To date, the joint-stock company has a number of specific projects aimed at reviving the industry by creating new production capacities, modernizing and expanding existing industries, as well as restarting idle enterprises. Kyrgyzindustriya implemented 19 projects, nine of which launched the production process and produce their own products.
Due to the suspension of allocation of additional funds, implementation of the remaining 10 projects was suspended.
Sadyr Japarov noted the importance of resuming the implementation of the suspended projects of Kyrgyzindustriya OJSC, as well as launching new production facilities and modernizing idle production workshops. He stressed the need to maximize the use of production potential and territories of factories for the further development of the country’s industrial sector, which will give impetus to the domestic economy.
In addition, the head of state instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to attract investments, create a favorable investment climate in order to restart idle enterprises.
