There are 24.8 tons of gold in the gold reserves of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan to date. Official representative of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic Aida Karabayeva told at a press conference.
She confirmed the words of the President Sadyr Japarov that the National Bank has 37.8 tons of gold in total. At the same time, 13 tons are in gold and foreign exchange reserves. The rest is the so-called reserves.
«If you look at the financial statements of the National Bank as of October 31, 2022, then all these data are shown there. The report has two articles relating to gold. One — 57 billion soms — is gold in reserves. There is also non-monetary gold for 118.4 billion soms. This is open information,» Aida Karabayeva told.
