Nine low-income families received certificates for 100,000 soms to start a small business in Kara-Balta city. Press service of the City Hall reported.
Certificates were issued for sewing garments at home, purchase of a milk cow and raising livestock, selling food and consumer goods, and other social projects.
«This is an opportunity for project participants to improve the quality of family life by acquiring new skills, efficient housekeeping, and also by creating conditions for self-employment,» the statement says.
The Social Protection Department and the City Hall conducted a survey of families, taught them the necessary skills and accompanied the process of acquiring everything necessary to open a business.
