The results of daily monitoring of average consumer prices showed that the cost of granulated sugar increased by 15 soms, or 27 percent since the beginning of the year. The National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan provided such data.
To date, the average consumer price od sugar is 68.95 soms. At the same time, the highest cost of the product was registered in Kara-Suu (76.48 soms), Nookat (75 soms), Batken and Osh (73.72 soms). The lowest price of sugar was registered in Kerben (65 soms), Karakol (65.15 soms) and Tokmak (65.39 soms).
In November, compared to the previous month, retail prices for granulated sugar increased by 1.2 soms, or 1.8 percent. The largest price increase was registered in Kara-Suu — by 7.1 percent, Balykchy and Batken — by 4.5 percent.
