Two Deputy PMs, Minister of Culture take oath in Parliament

The new members of the Kyrgyz government today took an oath at the parliament meeting. The First Vice Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture, Information and Tourism oathed in the presence of President Sooronbai Jeenbekov.

 Recall, First Deputy Prime Minister Askarbek Shadiev replaced Tolkunbek Abdygulov. The latter was again appointed the head of the National Bank. Askarbek Shadiev became the first official in the Cabinet of Ministers, who retained his deputy seat under the new Constitution.

 In addition, Dair Kenekeev, who was appointed the Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security, took the oath. He received the post after the tragic death of his predecessor, Temir Dzhumakadyrov, in a traffic accident.

 The new Minister of Culture Sultanbek Zhumagulov also swore an oath. He was appointed after the resignation of the previous head of the ministry Tugelbai Kazakov because of the scandal with the burial of the mummy from the Historical Museum
