Almazbek Atambayev has no worries about future of Kyrgyzstan

Almazbek Atambayev congratulated Sooronbai Jeenbekov and the people of Kyrgyzstan on assumption of office by the new head of state.

He noted that the moment of transfer of power is very exciting for him.

Thank God, my term is over. I am grateful to all my associates and citizens of the country for their constant support. Having elected me as president, you gave credence to me. I want to thank my wife and children.

Almazbek Atambayev once again expressed his confidence that the new president will work honestly and continue the path of reforms. He read the blessing that he wrote by himself.

«My friend Soke, I believe that you will become a worthy president. You will lead Kyrgyzstan into a bright and prosperous future,» he wished.

Inauguration of the elected president of Kyrgyzstan took place today at Ala-Archa State Residence. He said that the priority direction of the policy for him would be the fight against corruption, and by the first decree promised to reward the former head of state Almazbek Atambayev.

The presidential elections in Kyrgyzstan were held on October 15. Sooronbai Jeenbekov won 54.77 percent of votes.
