A new modern anti-tuberculosis hospital will be built in Bishkek. Press center of the Ministry of Health reported.
According to it, the old buildings are being demolished and the site is being prepared for the construction of a new building. The new hospital is designed for 129 beds. All TB patients from the capital and Chui region will be treated there. One unit is provided for the treatment of patients with multidrug resistance form of TB according to international standards.
The construction is planned within the framework of the project Program to Combat Tuberculosis 5, financed by a grant from the German Development Bank KFW.
As of today, a preliminary design of the building has been developed and approved; permission documents for topographic survey, engineering-geological survey, architectural planning and engineering technical conditions were obtained; design estimates were developed; a list of purchased medical equipment was compiled; a tender to demolish existing buildings was conducted.
