Observers of CIS mission note a quiet atmosphere at polling stations. The Chairman of CIS Executive Committee Sergey Lebedev told journalists today.

According to him, technical electoral innovations have been introduced for the first time in Kyrgyzstan and the CIS. «There were fears over them, but they did not come true. PEC members are well prepared. They immediately help in case of slightest misunderstanding,» Sergey Lebedev told.

«We are pleased with the calm atmosphere. We want it to last until the end of this day and after the elections, in order the peace, tranquility, prosperity to reign on the land of fraternal Kyrgyzstan,» Sergey Lebedev said.
