On September 30, Employees of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) arrested the deputy of the Parliament Kanatbek Isaev and some members of organized criminal groups within the criminal case initiated by the Prosecutor General’s Office. This was reported by the press center of the State National Security Committee.
«It follows from the materials of the criminal case that Kanatbek Isaev, being an active supporter of the candidate for the post of President Omurbek Babanov, in collusion with the representatives of organized criminal groups, with the purpose of organizing mass riots and subsequent violent seizure of power, carried out the selection, bribery and training of young people including members of the organized criminal group, for use in illegal actions during and after the election of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, under the pretext of falsifying the results of voting,» the GKNB said.
Earlier, the Prosecutor General’s Office informed that it had already been established that the deputy Kanatbek Isaev, being a supporter of the candidate for the post of President Omurbek Babanov, having entered into preliminary collusion with individuals, including representatives of organized criminal groups, carries out active actions aimed at organizing mass riots.
