$10 out of 37 million spent on Upper Naryn HPP

«Not more than $ 10 million out of $ 37 million were spent on Upper Naryn cascade of hydropower plants. Our commission found out this," MP Almambet Shykmamatov said at the meeting of the Committee on Constitutional Legislation, State Structure, Judicial and Legal Issues, Regulations of the Parliament, where the results of the work of the deputy commission on the use of funds by the joint venture «Upper Naryn HPPs» CJSC were considered.

According to him, the Russian side allocated 60 million, $ 37 million of which had been officially spent by the enterprises.

We demand to find the remaining $ 27 million, to find the thieves.

According to the people’s deputy, at present, the investigation of the case on hydropower plants is dragged on.

«Let’s hope that the new president will come and investigate this matter, because it is being postponed all the time. Some say that they had checked, others say that negotiations are going on, but there is no one guilty. Probably, the cascade itself is to blame," the deputy said.

«That is, they determined how many foxes, badgers, fish will die in the construction of hydropower plants," the deputy said.

According to the deputy, there were violations in the construction of housing at the plant.

«37 million dollars is not 37 tyiyns, which could be forgotten," he said.
