International center for innovations in agriculture to appear in Bishkek

An international center for innovations in the field of agriculture will be opened in Bishkek. The Information Support Department of the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

According to it, a memorandum was signed between the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic and South Korean institutions on the establishment of a research center on the introduction of innovations in the field of crop production and cattle breeding on the basis of the Institute of Biotechnology of the Academy of Sciences.

As reported, such agreements were previously signed only with developed countries. That is, Kyrgyzstan, working with the most advanced agricultural technologies, has a huge advantage among the developing countries.

Currently, a project is being prepared for the implementation of genetic research and adaptation of chickens of Korean and local breeds.
