The uncle of the suspected of the terrorist attack in St. Petersburg metro Imadzhon Dzhalilov claims that his nephew Akbarzhon Dzhalilov wasn’t a religious fanatic. He stated this to 24.kg news agency.
According to him, Akbarzhon regularly visited the mosque, but wasn’t seen in committal to extremist views. The other questions of the agency Imadzhon Dzhalilov refused to answer, explaining that he «doesn’t communicate with his relatives properly." Note, Imadzhon Dzhalilov is the brother of Akbarzhon’s father.
According to the neighbors of the parents of the suspect in the micro district «Amir-Timur» in Osh, the Dzhalilovs are very «positive and friendly." Akbarzhon has a younger brother Abrorzhon, born in 1999, who will graduate from school number 1 of the southern capital this year, and a sister. She is married and moved to her husband. «But on the eve of the report on the terrorist attack in St. Petersburg, the whole family disappeared, including the younger Abrorzhon," the neighbors noted.
The Russian media noted that Dzhalilov’s mother and father arrived in St. Petersburg for identification. Information on their departure by the last flight at 1.15 local time was confirmed to 24.kg news agency at Osh airport.
Earlier it was reported that the investigators had found the place of residence of 22-year-old Akbarzhon Dzhalilov in St. Petersburg and conducted a search there. Yesterday, on April 4, the Investigative Committee of Russia named the 22-year-old Akbarzhon Dzhalilov a man who made an explosion in the metro of St. Petersburg. Sources said that he recently worked in an auto repair shop.
The explosion in the St. Petersburg metro occurred on April 3. Victims of the terrorist attack were 14 people, more than 50 were injured.
