Cleanup efforts continue in Batken region following strong winds and mudflows that occurred on June 27. According to the office of presidential plenipotentiary representative, traffic on all roads has been fully restored, and there are no longer any restrictions for vehicles.
Electricity supply has also been restored in most affected settlements. Only 147 consumers in the village of Bezhoy, Batken district, remain without power. Emergency repair work is ongoing.
Water is being supplied as usual, and water management facilities are operating without interruptions. At the same time, adverse weather damaged several internet lines belonging to telecom operators. Specialists are currently working to repair the damage.
Cleanup operations are being overseen by the presidential plenipotentiary representative in Batken region, Mamyrzhan Rakhimov. All civil protection services remain on high alert.
Meanwhile, a special commission continues inspecting damaged homes, social facilities, and farm buildings to assess the full scale of damage caused by the hurricane-force winds.
