Boy weighing 6.5 kilograms born in Issyk-Ata district

A boy weighing 6.5 kilograms was born at the General Medical Practice Center in Issyk-Ata district. The press center of the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan informed 24.kg news agency.

According to the ministry, this is the fifth birth of the woman, by caesarean section.

In addition, a 36-year-old woman gave birth to triplets — all girls weighing more than 2 kilograms at the capital’s perinatal center on January 2.

«The newborns are in the second stage of nursing together with their mother, they are provided with the necessary supplies and medicines, all are in stable condition,» the Ministry of Health noted. «The woman was admitted to the perinatal center on December 28 in the department of pathology of pregnant women with a threat of early labor and anemia, and received inpatient treatment.»
