The first plant for shock freezing of vegetables and fruits has been launched in Kyrgyzstan. Construction of the enterprise was financed by the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund.
Bell peppers, tomatoes, sea buckthorn and raspberries were frozen there in test mode.
The plant plans to export 60 percent of its products to Russia and Kazakhstan.
The company is currently fulfilling an order for 300 tons of frozen green onions for the Moscow region. With the advent of spring, the plant plans to significantly expand its product range.
