Kyrgyzstanis won 12 medals at the International Karate-Do Tournament WKF KAZAKHSTAN OPEN 2023. Press service of the Bishkek City Hall reported.
The athletes win one gold, four silver and seven bronze medals.
Nazim Nurlanov took the first place in the category up to 75 kilograms. Umida Aisaeva, Rostislav Kovylin, Nurtilek Beishembaev and Nurai Beishembayev won silver medals in the weight category up to 50 kilograms.
Rafael Akbarov, Nazim Nurlanov, Umida Aisaeva, Sitora Rasulova, Dayana Derya, Sizim Esenkulova and Mukhammed Ilyasov won bronze medals.
More than 600 athletes from France, Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan took part in the tournament.
At least 29 athletes from the Karate-Do Federation represented the Kyrgyz Republic.
