Local resident illegally organizes lottery in Batken region

Organizer of an illegal lottery was revealed in Batken region. Press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) reported.

Resident of Samarkandek village, 30-year-old man and other persons involved were detained.

«The organizers sold lottery tickets for more than 8 million soms and received payment through online applications. The very process of the lottery was broadcast via YouTube. A criminal case has been initiated under the article «Illegal entrepreneurial activity» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. During a search in the houses of the organizers, lottery drums, documents for cars, lottery tickets and other documents related to the case were seized,» SCNS said.
