An emergency situation has been declared in Toguz-Toro district of Jalal-Abad region. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan reported.
According to the ministry, the water level in Naryn river has risen sharply and part of the territory has been flooded. About 200 households, 16 hectares of fields in Yntymak village and the airport runway are also at risk of flooding.
Works are underway on Naryn river.
