Construction of 315 houses has been completed in Batken district. Press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov, as part of a working trip to Batken region, got acquainted with the quality of completed houses in Kapchygai, Ak-Sai and Dostuk villages.
He noted that «on the instructions of the President of the country, he came to check the quality of completed houses in Batken region.»
Akylbek Japarov noted that the President’s promise to restore Batken region is being fulfilled.
The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers met with residents of border villages, listened to their problems and answered their questions. Residents were interested in further state support for border villages, including support for entrepreneurs affected by the tragic events on September 14-17, 2022.
Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce Choro Seitov informed that the total damage caused to Batken region amounted to 3.6 billion soms. The state has allocated one-time assistance to entrepreneurs in the amount of 300,000 soms. In addition, state-owned banks provide entrepreneurs with soft loans.
Akylbek Japarov, as part of his working trip, also got acquainted with the progress of construction of social and infrastructure facilities, where he noted the importance of carrying out construction work in compliance with all norms and relevant standards.
As a result of the tragic events on September 14-17, 2022, a total of 316 houses (out of 417) were destroyed in Batken district; at present, construction of 315 houses has been completed.
In addition, the infrastructure of the districts has been improved, internal roads have been paved, and communications are provided to each house. By the coming academic year, the construction of general education schools for 275 and 100 students will be completed.
