Infocom state enterprise under the Ministry of Digital Development of Kyrgyzstan has developed and launched a website where you can pay for public services online from any country of the world using Internet acquiring technology. Press service of the ministry reported.
Citizens of Kyrgyzstan who are abroad will be able to pay for the services of issuing an international passport and ID card of a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic using bank cards of other countries, the service provides for automatic currency conversion into som at the rate of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic on the day of payment.
Internet acquiring is a technology that allows to accept Elcard, Visa, MasterCard bank cards for payment for passport services via the Internet at foreign institutions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.
To pay, the applicant has to enter the payment code and bank card details on the website payment.infocom.kg.
In the near future, online payment for services of the registry office, transport and driver’s staff, Meken card will be available.
For holders of VISA and MasterCard payment cards, the fee is 2.5 percent of the cost of the service.
