Kyrgyzstani contests decision on his deportation in Moscow

Kyrgyzstani Muhammadaziz Anarbaev was able to appeal against the decision of the Moscow court on his deportation. Azattyk radio reports.

Human rights activists who helped the citizen claim that this is the first time that a migrant from the Kyrgyz Republic working under an employment contract defended his rights.

It is noted that the police detained the man almost a month ago because of an expired registration. The Lefortovsky District Court ruled to expel him from the country and imposed a fine of 5,000 rubles. Then the mother of the migrant, Gulnoza Anarbaeva, turned to human rights activists, who filed an appeal. It took them 10 days to release the Kyrgyzstani.

Muhammadaziz Anarbaev worked at a fast food restaurant chain under an employment contract. According to human rights activist Muhammad Sabirov, this helped save him from deportation. He said that, according to the laws of the EAEU, the period of registration of a migrant should be automatically extended on the basis of this document.
