The Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek completed consideration of the criminal case against a Сandidate of Philosophical Sciences Gulzat Aaliyeva. She was accused of inciting interreligious hatred.
The court acquitted the defendant for lack of corpus delicti.
Gulzat Aaliyeva promoted Tengrianism and criticized Islam. She also criticized the Spiritual Directorate of the Muslims of Kyrgyzstan.
The scientist was detained in April 2021. She was charged with inciting racial, ethnic, national, religious or interregional hatred.
