Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov, during a working trip to Naryn region, visited Tsentralny site of Kara-Keche brown coalfield, developed by Kyrgyzkomur state enterprise. Press service of the Cabinet reported.
Akylbek Japarov inspected the progress of production work, held a working meeting and gave a number of instructions to the management of Kyrgyzkomur, relevant state and local authorities.
«Preparation for the upcoming heating season must be impeccable. According to the plan, Kyrgyzkomur enterprise needs to stock up and produce 2,677 million tons of coal. Therefore, production work must be carried out in full, and coal supplies must go uninterrupted. It is important to ensure compliance with safety regulations at the quarry, to prevent accidents. In this regard, study the experience of Kumtor enterprise, we are ready to provide funds for the purchase of appropriate tracking sensors,» he said.
The head of the Cabinet also instructed to provide the residents of Dzhumgal district with coal at its cost.
Shipment of coal for the population, budgetary institutions, as well as the Bishkek Heating and Power Plant has begun since August 1. The enterprise ships about 5,500 tons of solid fuel per day.
