Deputy asks to open Consulate of Kyrgyzstan in Indonesia

Deputy Yrysbek Atazhanov announced the need to open a Consulate of Kyrgyzstan in Indonesia. He stated this today at a meeting of Parliament during consideration of the candidacy of Jeenbek Kulubaev for the post of Minister of Foreign Affairs.

According to the deputy, Kyrgyzstanis from Indonesia have to travel to Malaysia to resolve visa issues.

«Indonesia is one of the large Muslim countries. There are many of our compatriots. In order to get a visa, they need to travel to Malaysia. If possible, we have to open a Consulate there,» Yrysbek Atazhanov said.
