Disciplinary Commission under the Council of Judges considered the issue of bringing the head of the Supreme Court of Kyrgyzstan Gulbara Kalieva to criminal liability.
Kaliyeva herself and her lawyer did not attend the meeting. Investigator of the State Committee for National Security Zamirbek Subanaliev said that they want to hand the Chairwoman of the Supreme Court a notice of suspicion under the Article "Corruption" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The commission decided to submit a proposal to the President to remove Gulbara Kalieva from the post of the Chairwoman the Supreme Court.
As a result, the Disciplinary Commission agreed to prosecute Gulbara Kalieva.
The Commission received a recommendation against the Chairwoman of the Supreme Court, Gulbara Kalieva. Earlier, the Chairman of the State Committee for National Security Kamchybek Tashiev said that a criminal case had been initiated against her. It concerns corruption in the development and implementation of Local Court automated information system.
