The Global Money Week started in Kyrgyzstan for the 5th time. Member of the Board the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, Almaz Sydykov, announced this at a press conference today.
According to him, the Money Week is held under the motto «Learn. Save. Earn.» It will take place in all regions of the republic and will last until April 14. The Global Money Week is a worldwide movement the goal of which is to teach children proper financial management.
«Within the week, the National and commercial banks, state bodies and other organizations, including international ones, will hold educational events, including open lessons at schools, lectures at universities, excursions to the Numismatic Museum of the National Bank, doors open events in commercial banks and government agencies. In addition, the results of the national drawing, essays and piggy banks competitions previously announced among the children and young people will be summed up,» Almaz Sydykov stressed.
