Two Kyrgyzstanis become Asian wrestling champions

Kyrgyzstanis became the champions of Asia in women’s wrestling among the juniors. The United World Wrestling website reported.

The championship continues in New Delhi (India). Five representatives of the Kyrgyz Republic took part in the championship on July 19.

In 68 kg weight category, Meerim Zhumanazarova confidently defeated Chi Hsuan Chang (Chinese Taipei), Heneng Park (South Korea), Valeriya Goncharova (Kazakhstan) and Diva Kakran (India) and won gold medal.

In the weight of 76 kg, Ayperi Medet kyzy with great advantage defeated Karuna Karuna (India), Ainagul Abirova (Kazakhstan), Oyunbagana Batchuluu (Mongolia) and Yuzhen Ding (China) and also took the first place.

Aisalkyn Kozhomkul kyzy (50 kg), Aybike Artykali kyzy (55 kg) and Nuraida Anarkulova (59 kg) won no medals.

Today, the athletes will compete for five more sets of awards.
