Kyrgyzstanis won four more medals at the Asian Junior Championship in Greco-Roman wrestling. The United World Wrestling website reports.
As noted, on July 18, on the second day of the continental championship, Kyrgyz wrestlers Khalmurat Ibragimov (67 kilograms), Beksultan Nazarbayev (72 kg) and Azat Salidinov (82 kg) won silver in their weight categories. Daniyar Sherimbekov (97 kg) took the 3rd place. Only Talastan Kanzharbek uulu (60 kg) was left without a medal, taking the 5th place.
On the first day of the championship, Kyrgyz Greco-Roman wrestlers won two bronze medals.
The Greco-Roman wrestling tournament in the framework of the Asian Championship has ended. In the team scoring, the Kyrgyz Republic got 135 points and became the third out of 15 countries, being behind only of representatives of Iran (225 points) and Kazakhstan (147 points).
Competitions in women's wrestling start today within the Asian Championship. It is held in New Delhi (India).
