Kyrgyzstanis won two gold medals at the European Open Jiu-Jitsu Championship. Jiu-Jitsu Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic informed 24.kg news agency.
Competitions were held on February 3-4 in Moscow (Russia). «Four sportsmen represented our country: two lost, and two became champions,» the federation noted.
Abdurakhmanhadzhi Murtazaliev took the first place among men with purple belts in the weight category of 85 kilograms. He alternately defeated three representatives of the Russian Federation.
In the same weight category, Murtazali Murtazaliev was the first among the holders of brown belts. He also defeated three Russian athletes.
In the team classification, the team of the Kyrgyz Republic became the 7th.
