Financial Police Department of Kyrgyzstan reimburses 1.7 billion soms

Financial Police Department of Kyrgyzstan since the beginning of 2017 has reimbursed more than 1.7 billion soms to the country’s budget, the chairman of State Service for Combating Economic Crimes Zamirbek Osmonov said at a working meeting with the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sapar Isakov on summarizing the activities of the service for 10 months, the department of public relations and mass media of the government of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

Zamirbek Osmonov noted that since the beginning of 2017, 1,311 facts of violations were revealed, the service reimbursed 1,713.5 billion soms.

The head of the government instructed to strengthen the activities of the State Service for Combating Economic Crimes to identify and suppress economic and corruption crimes, illegal gambling and lottery activities and to maximize compensation for material damage caused to the state.

In addition, it was entrusted to continue active work to identify the channels for the illegal import and export of various consumer goods, including fuel and lubricants.
