The Department of Chemicalization, Plant Protection, and Quarantine has issued an order banning the circulation of pesticides containing the active ingredient isofenphos-methyl in the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the order, pesticides containing this substance are prohibited from:

▪️ registration;
▪️ import and export;
▪️ sale;
▪️ storage;
▪️ transportation;
▪️ use.
The decision was made based on international experience and the recommendations of the Pesticide Action Network (PAN) on highly hazardous pesticides.
Isofenphos-methyl may have adverse effects on human health and pose a threat to the environment.
The measures taken are aimed at protecting public health, ensuring environmental safety, and improving the quality of agricultural products.
