The State Duma will support the bill on expulsion of migrants from the country for offenses under 20 more articles of the Russian Code of Administrative Violations. The Speaker of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin reported on his Telegram channel.
«The issue of migration control is extremely important. Deputies understand its acuteness: there are many appeals, the topic is regularly voiced during communication with people in the constituencies,» he wrote.
According to him, the improvement of migration legislation is a priority for the State Duma.
Vyacheslav Volodin added that the Chamber will as soon as possible consider the proposals of the government, ministries and agencies that contribute to solving problems in the migration sphere.
Earlier, the Russian Interior Ministry prepared a draft law, under which it intends to expel foreigners from the country for violations under 20 more articles of the Code of Administrative Violations. They include:
- Disobedience to the lawful order of a police officer, other law enforcement agencies;
- Submission of false information in the course of migration registration;
- Petty hooliganism;
- Propaganda or public display of the paraphernalia or symbols of extremist organizations;
- Firing weapons in authorized places in violation of the established rules or in unauthorized places;
- Dissemination of information containing public calls to carry out terrorist activities, justifying terrorism and other of an extremist nature.
