A meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS)will be held in Bishkek on October 13, chaired by Sadyr Japarov. The head of the Foreign Policy Department of the President’s Executive Office, Muratbek Azymbakiev, announced.
«Important decisions will be made aimed at expanding and strengthening cooperation between the member states of the Commonwealth in the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. It is expected that the heads of state of the CIS will take part in the summit. It is important to note that this year Kyrgyzstan is chairing the bodies of the Commonwealth,» Muratbek Azymbakiev stressed.
