A state of emergency was announced in Mailuu-Suu town, Jalal-Abad region of Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
According to it, the supply of heating to the houses of the townspeople was stopped.
«The reason is freezing of pipes due to abnormally cold weather. Therefore, a state of emergency has been declared in the city,» the press service said.
