Acting Minister of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan Kanybek Imanaliev has to stop the practice of parent fundraising to repair schools. This task was set by the President.
As Erbol Sultanbaev, spokesman for Sadyr Japarov, reported on Facebook, "the president instructed the Acting Minister of Education and Science Kanybek Imanaliev to prevent raising of money from parents for the repair of schools and the purchase of necessary items for classrooms (chalk, mops, buckets, etc.).
He added that the money for these needs would be allocated from the republican budget.
