Work is underway on a strategic partnership agreement between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Azerbaijan Kairat Osmonaliev told journalists at a press conference in Baku.
According to him, earlier, within the framework of the summit of the Organization of Turkic States, a meeting was held between the presidents of the two countries Sadyr Japarov and Ilham Aliyev.
«Visit of the President of Kyrgyzstan to Azerbaijan is expected in April-May 2022. The agreement on strategic partnership will also be signed during this visit,» he said.
Earlier, Kairat Osmonaliev told that the issue of declaring Bishkek and Baku twin cities was under consideration.
