The Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development (EFSD), together with the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, holds consultations on a three-year budget support program. The Executive Director of the EFSD Project Block, Andrei Shirokov, told journalists.
According to him, this is done because the country’s vulnerability to external shocks remains in the medium term. This is due to many factors. In particular, the republic needs to further diversify the economy, improve the work of state institutions, and increase human capital.
«It requires money. This is a task for more than one year. In this regard, we plan to provide support to the Cabinet of Ministers for three years, including for the implementation of important reforms in the country,» Andrei Shirokov said.
It is known that the money will be credit. The amount and terms of the loan are not disclosed until the parties sign the relevant agreement.
