The police seized more than 20 units of illegally stored firearms from residents of Issyk-Kul region. Press service of the Department of Internal Affairs of the region reported.
«Over 1,000 hunters and 82 owners of gas-traumatic weapons have been checked for three days. Nine previously committed crimes were solved and two wanted citizens were detained. At least 21 firearms have been withdrawn from illegal circulation, three of which are rifled and 18 are smooth-bore,» the statement says.
