A new school year began in Kyrgyzstan today.
According to the Ministry of Education and Science, more than 156,000 children entered the first grade in 2019-2020 academic year.
The total number of schoolchildren throughout the country is 1,300,000, schools — 2,265.
Lessons begin all over the republic on September 3.
