The Supreme Court of Kyrgyzstan found environmental activist Alexander Tolmachev guilty of hooliganism. Judicial board of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic announced the decision today.
According to Alexander Tolmachev, the Supreme Court upheld the decision of the two previous courts.
Recall, on August 5, the co-chairman of the Green Party, Alexander Tolmachev, was accused of hooliganism and arrested for five days for organizing a campaign against felling of trees on Bayalinov Street in Bishkek. He spent two days in the reception center then.
According to a court decision, he will have to spend three more days in the reception center.
