Presidents of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan get acquainted with production

President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev and Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited an exhibition of industrial products of the two countries, which opened in Tashkent today.

Kyrgyz entrepreneurs greeted the high guests with national songs and a yurt. Stands of domestic companies, as well as advertising of tourism and educational opportunities, were placed in the pavilions of our country.

Pavilions of Uzbekistan demonstrated the achievements of the republic in almost all spheres of industry. In the pavilion with home appliances, Almazbek Atambayev drew attention of the Minister of Economy of Kyrgyzstan Artem Novikov to the fact that it would be good to create similar production in Kyrgyzstan.

«An exhibition of goods from Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan was opened today. Business forum will start tomorrow. 250 entrepreneurs from Kyrgyzstan, including representatives of about 109 companies, participate in it. It is expected that agreements for $ 60 million will be signed on the results of the forum,» the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Marat Sharshekeev told journalists.
