Beijing hosts opening night of opera on Manas epic in Chinese

Theater in Beijing hosted the opening night of opera on Manas epic in Chinese. Press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

According to it, the scenario was written by the well-known author of China Wang Xiaolin. Work on the preparation of the opera was conducted for two years. More than 100 artists from state theaters of China took part in the opera.

It includes two parts of the epic — Manas and Semetey.

In the final, the spirit of Manas unites all the Kyrgyz, being a valuable ideal at all times, inspiring the Kyrgyz people and inspiring great deeds. The performance shows the life of the Kyrgyz people, as well as the beauty and uniqueness of traditional clothing.
