President helps victims of disaster in Osh region

Almazbek Atambayev provided assistance to people affected by natural disasters in Osh region who had not previously received material assistance. Information Policy Department of the President’s Office reported.

According to it, the head of state, as he promised at a press conference in Cholpon-Ata, signed an order according to which funds were allocated from the President’s Social Protection and Support Fund to provide material assistance to the people affected by the landslide in Zerger and Dzhalpak-Tash rural areas of Uzgen district, as well as by the earthquake in Dzhekendi and Chon-Alai rural areas of Chon-Alai district.

So, the victims of the landslide in Uzgen district will receive 100,000 soms, of the earthquake in Chon-Alai district — 100,000 and 50,000 soms (depending on the degree of destruction of housing).
